A memory book becomes interesting when it contains the tiny details you would otherwise lose. The meal that went wrong, the phrase you kept repeating, or the view outside a call can become a scene worth revisiting.
Use a repeatable entry
Write a date, a short title, and two sentences: what happened and why you want to remember it. Add a photo only if it helps. A consistent format makes the book easier to continue without designing a new page every time.
Collect lightly, edit occasionally
Keep a small inbox of possible moments, then choose favorites together once a month. Not everything needs to make the final collection. Leaving things out helps the important details remain visible.
Preserve each person's voice
Let your partner write their own caption and ask before saving private messages. Decide where the book lives and how each person can access or export it. A shared memory should not depend on one person controlling the only copy.
Create a page called “Episode zero” about the beginning of your relationship. Include one detail each that the other person may not remember.
