Japan House London describes how the film connects kumihimo braiding with musubi, relationships, and the flow of time. Kumihimo names the cord-making craft; musubi carries a wider idea of connection in the film. They are related in the story, but they are not interchangeable names for the same object.
Bring the metaphor back to everyday life
